Terms of use

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the 2mins app or this website. 2mins is run by [operator legal name and address] (“we”, “us”). By using 2mins you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The service

2mins gives you a short, finite deck of reading cards each day on the topics you choose. The app is free to download and use. We may change, add or remove features, topics or cards over time.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 to use 2mins.

Accounts

You need to sign in with Apple or Google to use 2mins. Keep access to that account secure; you're responsible for activity under it. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

The cards

Fair use

Please don't:

We may suspend access if someone breaks these rules.

Our rights

The 2mins name, logo, app design and our own writing belong to us. Source material belongs to its owners and is used under its licence.

2mins is free today. If we add paid features, the price and any extra terms will be shown to you before you buy, and purchases will go through the App Store or Google Play under their terms.

Availability

We aim to have a fresh deck ready every day, but we can't promise the service will always be available or free of faults. Downloaded decks keep working offline.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses, and the app is provided as it is.

Stopping

You can stop using 2mins at any time by deleting the app (and your account, if you have one). We may stop offering 2mins; if we do, we'll give reasonable notice in the app where we can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app first. If you keep using 2mins after a change, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.
